Most people automatically assume that whenever they're asked to donate to charity that it only means in monetary terms. Charities aren't only looking for you to give back in the form of money. There are many different ways you can donate to charities in need and charitable donations, in whatever form, are always welcomed.

For example, if you want to support your son or daughter's minor hockey tournament and can't give any money to help them pay for travel expenses you can always donate your time by becoming a volunteer referee or assistant coach.
